Experience
Through the years, I have learned the art of observation and careful study through the camera lens. I’ve discovered that Nature speaks to us constantly, and if we take the time to listen, we can understand her vocabulary. The more we understand, respect, and connect with Nature, the better off the human race will be. This planet Earth is our home, and she sustains life for all living things. The health of this planet should factor into every decision we make as an individual and as a group of societies. To do anything else is ultimately to harm ourselves and all other species. The key is to observe the complexity and beauty all around us each day, let it sink down deeply into our own being and recognize our fundamental connection to it.
Inspiration
Traveling is a huge part of my life. In the last 23 years, I have done a lot of traveling. And during each trip I encounter people who become my traveling companions. These companions have all played a role in helping me discover myself. My travel destinations come to me intuitively without much forethought. In a dream, or some other way, a message appears indicating when and where to go next. When the time comes, I prepare his backpack and I go. I believe that I have to go to that place because there is something I have to learn there. In each one of my travels, along the way, a traveling companion appears, someone I have never met before, who has some meaningful insight to share with me. My destinations in the last few years have included Peru, Bolivia, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, France, Morocco and India.
